Praise the Lord... The Vision is Becoming Reality
We have obtained possesion of the property which will be to home to our Gospel Rescue Mission
(similar to the L.A. Dream Center ministry). It will be used to rescue men from homelessness or potential
homelessness as well as being a resource center with Biblical discipleship, job training, and rehabilitation within
a safe and nurturing home atmosphere.
On October 28th a new interim board of directors was formed and new officers installed with Pastor Galen Thornton elected to lead the
board as President/Chairperson. Their next step will be the formation of committees to help develop and facilitate the
ministry's planning and fundraising efforts.

from Cal Polytechnic State University
(Cal Poly)in San Luis Obispo.
In 2006, a study was conducted by the Homeless Services Coordinating Council (HSCC) in conjunction with Cal Poly and the
SLO County Board of Supervisors, to count the homeless population in the county. This group also wanted to idenfity and quantify the
needs of the homeless. This Model is the result of that study.
